KYIV. March 9 (Interfax-Ukraine) – The Verkhovna Rada delegation will take part in the meeting of the 146th Assembly of the Inter-Parliamentary Union (IPU) in Manama (Bahrain) on March 11-15.
“The Ukrainian delegation … is determined to talk with representatives of other countries about Ukraine. We will use every opportunity to convey the truth and unite the world for the sake of our victory and the restoration of justice,” head of the delegation, First Deputy Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada Oleksandr Korniyenko said.
It is planned that Korniyenko will speak in the general debate of the assembly on Sunday, March 12. The program of the visit also provides for a number of bilateral meetings of the Verkhovna Rada delegation with representatives of parliaments of the world.
As reported, the Ukrainian delegation took part in the 145th IPU Assembly, which supported a resolution condemning Russia’s invasion of Ukraine and Russia’s attempts to annex Ukrainian territories.
