No wonder Russia chooses Intl Day of Peace to escalate its unjustified war – Maasikas
KYIV. Sept 21 (Interfax-Ukraine) – Russia has chosen the International Day of Peace to escalate its unjustified war against Ukraine, Head of the EU Delegation to Ukraine Matti Maasikas has said.
"Unsurprisingly, Russia chose the International Day of Peace to escalate its unjustified war. Ukraine needs peace on its own terms that respect Ukraine’s sovereignty and territorial integrity. The EU continues to support Ukraine in winning the war, as Ukraine fights for our peace, too," he said on Twitter on Wednesday.
