Dniprovahonrembud halves net profit in 2022

KYIV. March 15 (Interfax-Ukraine) – JSC Dniprovsky plant for repair and building passenger wagons (Dniprovahonrembud) in 2022 received net profit, according to preliminary data, in the amount of UAH 22.76 million, which is half the same indicator in 2021 (UAH 46.34 million).

According to information in the disclosure system of the National Securities and Stock Market Commission to the agenda of the general meeting of shareholders scheduled for April 24, the uncovered loss by the beginning of 2023 amounted to UAH 590.38 million (a year earlier – UAH 613.98 million).

The shareholders plan to use the net profit received for 2022, as in the previous year, to pay off losses of previous years, not to pay dividends.

According to the commission, as of the fourth quarter of 2022, more than 98.8% of the shares of the plant belong to Unibudinvest venture closed corporate investment fund, affiliated with businessman Leonid Yurushev.

According to the company, over the past year, its current liabilities decreased by 9% – to UAH 275 million, while long-term ones grew by 5.4%, amounting to UAH 12.27 million.

The assets decreased slightly – to UAH 133.1 million, total receivables increased by 1.5% – to UAH 20.66 million.

The equity capital of the company is negative – UAH 154.26 million.

The shareholders at the meeting plan to approve the results of the company’s financial and economic activities, as well as reports from the management and appoint an independent external auditor.

The core business of Dniprovahonrembud is the repair and production of railway rolling stock and its components.
