Zelensky thanks Great Britain for large package of military assistance to Ukraine
KYIV. Jan 16 (Interfax-Ukraine) – President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky has expressed gratitude to Grear Britain for providing Ukraine with a large package of military assistance that includes Challenger 2 tanks, dozens of AS-90 self-propelled howitzers, and other equipment.
"Tanks, APCs and artillery are exactly what Ukraine needs to restore its territorial integrity. Thank you [UK Prime Minister] Rishi Sunak, thank you [UK Secretary for Defense] Ben Wallace, thank you British people for this powerful contribution to our common victory over tyranny," he said on Twitter.
