Yermak, Estonian MFA’s Secretary discuss implementation of Peace Formula, Euro-Atlantic integration of Ukraine
KYIV. Jan 13 (Interfax-Ukraine) – Head of the Office of the President of Ukraine Andriy Yermak has held a meeting on Friday with State Secretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Estonia Jonatan Vseviov.
"Special attention was paid to the discussion of President Zelensky’s Peace Formula and Estonia’s participation in its implementation," Yermak said on Telegram.
According to him, the conversation also touched on practical aspects of Ukraine’s implementation of a strategic course to gain full membership in the European Union and NATO. The interlocutors coordinated positions on Estonia’s further support for this goal.
The sides also discussed the current situation on the battlefield and joint steps to counter Russian aggression. At the same time, Yermak noted the importance of strengthening Estonia’s practical assistance to strengthen Ukraine’s defense capabilities.
As reported, the meeting was held within the framework and in the development of agreements reached during a telephone conversation between Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky and Estonian President Alar Karis, which took place on January 10.
In particular, then the heads of state coordinated steps for further Euro-Atlantic integration of Ukraine.
