War reveals problems of storing medicines purchased for budget funds in private companies' warehouses – MPU dpty director
KYIV. Jan 16 (Interfax-Ukraine) – The war revealed the problems of storing medicines purchased with state budget funds in the warehouses of private companies, Deputy Director General of the State Enterprise "Medical Procurement of Ukraine" (MPU) Edem Adamanov said.
"You can’t store everything in the warehouses of private companies. Now we understand that outsourcing is not a very good solution in a war," he said.
According to Adamanov, in order to solve the problem of storing medicines, "there is a process of reorganization and accession to the MPU of another state enterprise – Ukrmedpostach, which has its own storage facilities in Kyiv."
He said "critical medicines – oncology, hemophilia, vaccines" purchased at the expense of the budget will be stored in the warehouses of Ukrmedpostach.
