VostGOK decides to abandon electricity trader license issued to it two weeks ago

KYIV. Aug 28 (Energy Reform) – he state-owned enterprise Skhidny Mining and Processing Plant (VostGOK, Dnipropetrovsk region) asks the National Energy and Utilities Regulatory Commission of Ukraine (NEURC), which carries out state regulation in the fields of energy and utilities, to cancel the license issued to it on August 11 for trading in the electricity market.

The draft resolution on the revocation of the license to VostGOK, based on its statement of August 19, was submitted to the meeting of the energy regulator scheduled for September 1.

"To cancel the SE VostGOK’ license on the basis of an application for the right to carry out business activities for the resale of electricity (trading activities), issued in accordance with the NEURC decree No. 1303 of September 11, 2021," the draft decree says. The decision to revoke the license comes into force from the date of its adoption.
