Verkhovna Rada at second reading adopts bill that allows paying taxes, utilities with e-money
KYIV. Jan 12 (Interfax-Ukraine) – The Verkhovna Rada has adopted bill No. 4366, which allows paying taxes and utility bills with electronic money, MP Oleksiy Honcharenko (the European Solidarity faction) said on his Telegram channel on Thursday.
According to the parliamentarian, such a decision will allow legalizing electronic money.
In addition, according to the document, the accounts of electronic "purses" are equated to bank accounts.
The deputy head of the financial committee of the Verkhovna Rada, Yaroslav Zhelezniak, recalled that during the war in Ukraine the circulation of electronic money is limited.
