Ukrposhta launches 51 mobile branches in four regions of Ukraine since early Sept
KYIV. Sept 7 (Interfax-Ukraine) – JSC Ukrposhta has launched 51 mobile branches since the beginning of September in the villages of Vinnytsia, Dnipropetrovsk, Sumy and Zhytomyr regions, where less than 1,200 residents live, the company’s press service said on Tuesday.
According to the report, since September, mobile offices have set out on routes to 628 settlements in Vinnytsia, Dnipropetrovsk, Sumy and Zhytomyr regions, where 135,000 residents will be able to receive services.
"In particular, in Vinnytsia region, a new base in Tulchyn has been launched, from where nine postal teams of mobile offices will serve 90 settlements. Seven mobile offices have started operating in Dnipropetrovsk region and will provide services in 86 settlements," Ukrposhta specified.
According to the release, in Zhytomyr region, another 17 mobile offices have set out on routes to 215 villages, and in Sumy region, two new bases for mobile offices have begun to operate in Konotop and Putyvl, from which 17 cars leave for the routes.
In total, since the beginning of the war, Ukrposhta has launched 520 mobile post offices, and in general, 1,700 mobile offices operate on the routes.
The company recalled that the duties of mobile branches include the delivery and issuance of pensions and social benefits, the issuance of money transfers, payment of utility bills, the sale of essential goods, the delivery of parcels and periodicals.
