Ukroboronprom already provides maintenance services for western armaments – company spokesperson
KYIV. Jan 13 (Interfax-Ukraine) – Enterprises of the Ukroboronprom State Concern already provide maintenance services for western armaments, Spokesperson for Ukroboronprom Natalia Sad has said.
"We have already started to provide maintenance services for western, foreign armaments. We understand that this equipment was sent to Ukraine not to stand idle in the fields in case of combat damage […]. As soon as we receive signals that one or another equipment is out of order, we begin to work with it," she told a press briefing at the Ukraine Media Center.
Sad emphasized that Ukroboronprom has increased the volume of repairs of various equipment by five to eight times and the demand for the service rises every month.
She also recalled that the proportion between the national and foreign armaments is far from "50 to 50 and even 60 to 40."
"We also continue to fight using armaments made, upgraded, and repaired by Ukroboronprom," Sad said.
