Ten Ukrainian universities included in Times Higher Education magazine's ranking of best world universities – Education Ministry
KYIV. Sept 2 (Interfax-Ukraine) – Ten higher educational institutions of Ukraine were included in the rating of the best universities in the world from the Times Higher Education magazine, the Ministry of Education and Science reported.
The highest position among the Ukrainian universities included in the rating was taken by Sumy State University, which took 501-600 places. It is followed by Lviv Polytechnic National University taking the 601-800 place. Kharkiv National University of Radio Electronics took 1001-1200 places.
Oles Honchar Dnipro National University, the Ivan Franko National University of Lviv, National Technical University "Kharkiv Polytechnic Institute," National Technical University of Ukraine "Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute", Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv, V. N. Karazin Kharkiv National University and Yuriy Fedkovych Chernivtsi National University ranked 1201 plus.
The Times Higher Education World University Rankings 2022 includes over 1,600 universities from 99 countries and territories. The ranking is based on 13 carefully calibrated performance indicators that measure the institution’s performance in four areas: teaching, research, knowledge transfer and international perspectives.
