Shmyhal discusses humanitarian support for Ukraine with newly elected head of US Conference of Catholic Bishops
KYIV. Dec 30 (Interfax-Ukraine) – Prime Minister of Ukraine Denys Shmyhal discussed humanitarian support for Ukraine with the newly elected head of the U.S. Conference of Catholic Bishops, Archbishop Timothy Broglio.
"We discussed the areas of humanitarian support for Ukraine with the newly elected head of the U.S. Conference of Catholic Bishops, Archbishop Timothy Broglio. Support for people, in particular, migrants and in war zones, plays an important role for us. We also discussed assistance in helping with energy equipment, humanitarian demining, and prosthetics and the return of Ukrainians deported to Russia," Shmyhal said on his Telegram channel.
The prime minister thanked the U.S. Conference of Catholic Bishops for their involvement in helping Ukraine and its citizens.
