SBU identifies Russian military involved in missile strike on Dnipro

KYIV. Jan 16 (Interfax-Ukraine) – The Security Service of Ukraine (SBU) has identified the Russian occupiers involved in the missile attack on a residential building in Dnipro on January 14, the SBU reports.

"Every Russian war crime has a specific perpetrator. The security service will establish and publish the data of all by name – so that no killer escapes punishment. Let each of those who presses ‘start,’ who is involved in such crimes, then every minute waits for the reckoning. And it will definitely be. The SBU has already collected a huge array of evidence for international courts and is expanding and supplementing it every day of the war," the SBU reported on the Telegram channel on Monday with reference to head of the SBU Vasyl Maliuk.

The report indicates that on the facts of another war crime of the Russian Federation, SBU investigators have launched criminal proceedings under Article 438 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (violation of the laws and customs of war) to collect and summarize evidence of a terrorist attack of the Russian Federation.

"According to preliminary investigation data, several dozen servicemen of the aggressor country are involved in the commission of this crime, among them: commander of the 52nd heavy Bomber Aviation Regiment (military unit No. 33310) Colonel Timoshin Oleg Evgenievich, born in June 21, 1971; commander of the aviation detachment of the 52nd heavy bomber aviation regiment Major Ivanenko Alexey Sergeevich, born in February 08, 1987; Chief of Staff of the aviation squadron of the aviation group Dmitry Golenkov, in September 1, 1978; navigator of the 52nd heavy bomber aviation regiment Grigoriev Denis Anatolyevich, born in June 07, 1982; navigator of the 52nd heavy bomber aviation regiment Nazyrov Dinar, born in July 03, 1985; engineer for aviation armament of the 52nd heavy bomber aviation regiment Evgeny Potseluyev, born in June16, 1980," the SBU informs.

In addition, as the message says, as a result of the inspection of the scene of the tragedy, the type of the Russian cruise missile X-22, which the enemy hit on a residential building, was previously confirmed.

After carrying out the relevant examinations, the lawbreakers will be notified of suspicion of committing a particularly serious crime against Ukraine.

The SBU reminds that as a result of a missile strike on a multi-storey building in Dnipro, 40 people were confirmed as dead, three children are among them. Seventy-five people were injured, including 14 children. Seventy-two apartments in the house were completely destroyed, 236 were damaged, and 25 cars were also destroyed.
