Over 173,000 people vaccinated against COVID-19 per day in Ukraine – Ministry of Health
KYIV. Aug 27 (Interfax-Ukraine) – Over the past day, 173,435 people were immunized, the press service of the Ministry of Health of Ukraine reported.
"On August 26, 2021, some 173,435 people were vaccinated against COVID-19. A total of 55,908 people received one dose, while 1,175,27 people were fully immunized," it said.
It is noted that 1,051 mobile brigades, 2,974 vaccination points, 332 vaccination centers worked during the day.
Since the beginning of the vaccination campaign, some 5,208,200 people have been vaccinated, of which 5,208,198 people received one dose; some 3,427,847 people received two doses and were fully immunized (two of them received one dose abroad).
"A total of 8,636,045 vaccinations were carried out," the Ministry of Health said.
