Oschadbank to cut base fee for acquiring services to 1.8%
KYIV. Jan 26 (Interfax-Ukraine) – State-owned Oschadbank (Kyiv) from February 1, following PrivatBank, will reduce the basic commission for acquiring services to 1.8%, the bank’s press service reported on Wednesday.
“Starting from February 1, 2022, both existing and new clients of Oschadbank will have a single tariff for the provision of acquiring services in the amount of 1.8%. The tariff for connecting acquiring using the OschadPAY application… is 1.7% of the amount of the transaction without additional commissions, provided that payments are credited to a bank account,” the bank said.
As reported, since January 15, PrivatBank has reduced the basic commission for acquiring services at retail outlets to 1.8% from 2-2.4% on average.
Oschadbank was founded in 1991. Its sole owner is the state.
According to the statistics of the National Bank, as of October 1, 2021, Oschadbank ranked second in the rating in terms of total assets (UAH 247.44 billion) among 71 banks operating in the country.
