Naftogaz opens first filling station of U.GO network in Kherson
KYIV. Jan 16 (Interfax-Ukraine) – The first filling station of the U.GO network has been opened in liberated Kherson, Oleksiy Chernyshov, the chairman of the board of NJSC Naftogaz Ukrainy, said on his Facebook page.
"As soon as the security situation was resolved, we opened the first gas station of the U.GO network in the free Ukrainian Kherson. For a mutilated city, each gas station is extremely important," he wrote.
As Chernyshov recalled, the Naftogaz group published a list and addresses of gas stations under its control (Power Drive) that can operate in a power outage.
"Peaceful cities, de-occupied territories or settlements where fierce battles are taking place – we are working wherever possible today," Chernyshov said.
According to the website of Naftogaz Group, Power Drive is an up-to-date list of filling stations of the U.GO and Ukrnafta brands, which are part of the group, which are equipped with generators and are ready to work even in blackout conditions.
Currently, 579 gas stations in all regions of Ukraine are completely independent from power outages.
"The list is constantly expanding and supplemented, stay tuned for updates on this page," the group pays attention.
As reported, Naftogaz Oil Trading (a subsidiary of Naftogaz) as of November 2022 launched 46 gas stations under the U.GO brand based on the assets of the arrested Glusco network, consisting of 126 gas stations.
