NACP plans to monitor implementation of State Anti-Corruption Program for 2023-2025
KYIV. April 5 (Interfax-Ukraine) –The National Agency on Corruption Prevention (NACP) plans to launch an information system for monitoring the implementation of the State Anti-Corruption Program for 2023-2025.
According to the NACP on its Telegram channel on Wednesday, Andriy Vyshnevsky, deputy head of the NACP, said this during the presentation of the program The Path to a Future without Corruption: Step by Step Instructions on Wednesday in Kyiv.
According to the report, this will be a special portal with convenient functions that will allow the executors of the document to effectively manage data, and citizens to track the progress of the program.
According to Vyshnevsky, public organizations and experts will be able to comment on the assessment of the implementation of individual measures in the system. “The NACP will help monitor and evaluate the implementation of the Anti-Corruption Strategy and the State Anti-Corruption Program,” the message says.
“Victory has two components: the task of military defeat of the enemy and the development of stable democratic institutions. For both components, freedom from corruption is of critical importance. It is important to combine efforts to prevent corruption and ensure the inevitability of punishment for it,” Vyshnevsky emphasized.
He also noted: “Without effective prevention, the fight against corruption cannot be effective, and even the number of prisoners will not indicate the overcoming of corruption. The novelty of the State Anti-Corruption Program lies precisely in the fact that for the first time it contains a component related to prevention of corruption in key sectors of state policy – at the initial stage of its formation.”
