More than 160,000 people vaccinated against COVID-19 in Ukraine in past 24 hours – Health Ministry
KYIV. Aug 26 (Interfax-Ukraine) – Over the past day, 162,410 people have been immunized, the press service of the Ministry of Health of Ukraine reported.
“Some 162,410 people were vaccinated against COVID-19 on August 23, 2021. One dose was received by 44,218 people, while 118,192 people were fully immunized,” the message says.
It is reported that 960 mobile teams, 2,822 vaccination points, 335 vaccination centers were operating during the day.
Since the beginning of the vaccination campaign, 5,152,292 people have been vaccinated, of whom 5,152,290 people received one dose, 3,310,320 people were fully immunized and received two doses (two of them received one dose abroad).
“A total of 8,462,610 vaccinations were carried out,” the Ministry of Health said.
