Kyiv provided with electricity for 30% of its needs so far – DTEK Grids

KYIV. Nov 25 (Interfax-Ukraine) – Kyiv is currently provided with electricity only for 30% of the need, general director of DTEK Grids Oleksandr Fomenko has said.

"In other words, there will be light for four hours and no light for eight hours," he said on the air of the national telethon.

According to him, the current pace of recovery allows us to hope that the Ukrainian capital will enter the schedule of planned outages by Monday.

Earlier on Friday, the national operator NPC Ukrenergo reported that the shortage of electricity in the country’s power system is 30% on Friday evening, as at 11:00, while the day before it was 50%.
