Kuleba asks OSCE Chairman to pay careful attention to problem of abduction of Ukrainian children by Russians
KYIV. Jan 16 (Interfax-Ukraine) – Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Dmytro Kuleba, during a meeting in Kyiv with OSCE Chairman, Foreign Minister of Northern Macedonia Bujar Osmani, called for attention to the problem of abduction and forced adoption of Ukrainian children by Russians.
“One more question that I raised – I asked the Chairman-in-office, taking into account the priority of the Macedonian chairmanship, as well as the OSCE mandate, to pay the most careful attention to the problem of abduction of Ukrainian children by the occupier and their forced adoption. We believe that OSCE institutions can play a very important role in this issue,” Kuleba said at a press conference with OSCE Chairman, North Macedonian Foreign Minister Bujar Osmani in Kyiv.
The head of Ukrainian diplomacy added that the OSCE Chairman reacted positively to this issue.
“I am very pleased that Bujar reacted very emotionally and positively to this issue,” Kuleba said.
