Kokhavynska paper mill increases production by almost 45% in 2022
KYIV. Jan 17 (Interfax-Ukraine) – Kokhavynska paper mill (Lviv region), which produces sanitary and hygienic paper products (the Kokhavynka brand), over 2022, produced products worth UAH 975.3 million, which is 44.8% more than in 2021.
According to the statistics of the Ukrpapir association, provided to Interfax-Ukraine, in quantity terms, production of base paper for sanitary products increased by almost 4%, to 40,600 tonnes.
At the same time, production of toilet paper in rolls increased by 18.4%, to 132 million pieces, which remains the second largest indicator after Kyivsky paper mill (323 million pieces), whereas a year earlier, the plant occupied the third position (the second place was taken by JSC VGP, which produces products under the Ruta brand, which reduced its production by 32%, to 93.7 million rolls in 2022).
In general, the main enterprises of the industry over the past year produced more than 571 million rolls of paper (18.2% less by 2021), and only Kokhavynska paper mill showed an increase in the top three.
