Intl partners support Ukraine: more weapons, aid for energy system – Maasikas
KYIV. Jan 16 (Interfax-Ukraine) – Head of the EU Delegation to Ukraine Matti Maasikas, reacting to the latest Russian attacks on civilian infrastructure and civilians, announced support for Ukraine from international partners in the form of more weapons and assistance for the energy system.
"Russia escalates over the weekend, targeting civil infrastructure and killing at least 26 civilians. The aggressor nevertheless fails to break Ukrainians’ spirit and resolve. International partners stand with Ukraine, notably with more weapons and enhanced support to energy system," Matti Maasikas said on Twitter on Sunday.
