Interior Minister: 31 of 60 bodies of deceased in Lyman identified
KYIV. Oct 7 (Interfax-Ukraine) – Law enforcers and experts continue carrying out the procedures for the identification of the bodies of the deceased that were found in Lyman, Donetsk region, after it was liberated from the Russian occupation. Thirty-one of 60 bodies have been identified as of today, according to Interior Minister of Ukraine Denys Monastyrsky.
"In Lyman, we found 60 bodies of the deceased. So far we have managed to identify 31 of them. We will identify the rest of them with regard to citizens’ appeals and DNA tests. It is always a difficult process," he said on air of the national telethon on Friday.
