IAEA launches mission to Pivdennoukrainsk NPP
PIVDENNOUKRAINSK. Jan 16 (Interfax-Ukraine) – The International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) has launched its mission to Pivdennoukrainsk Nuclear Power Plant (NPP) in Mykolaiv region.
An Interfax-Ukraine correspondent reported that the IAEA flag was raised in the territory of the NPP on Monday in the presence of IAEA Director General Rafael Grossi.
As reported, the IAEA announced the launch of its missions to the NPPs located in the government-controlled territory of Ukraine – Pivdennoukrainsk NPP, Khmelnytsky NPP, Rivne NPP, and Chornobyl NPP. Another mission of the IAEA has been working for several months at the Russia-occupied Zaporizhia NPP, which is the largest nuclear power plant in Europe.
