KYIV. Aug 27 (Interfax-Ukraine) – The High Anti-Corruption Court (HACC) has decided to re-summon former President Viktor Yanukovych to court and, in this regard, postponed the meeting on electing him a measure of restraint in the case of taking possession of the Mezhyhirya residence to 09.30 on October 4, 2021.

The corresponding decision was made by the HACC on Friday, partially satisfying the petition of the defense of Yanukovych.

"The investigating judge ruled the lawyer’s petition […] on the implementation of the proper summons of Yanukovych to the court session to partially satisfy. To re-summon Yanukovych to the court session by publishing about the summons in the media […] and on the official website of the Prosecutor General’s Office," says the decision of the HAAC judge, adopted on Friday.

Due to the fact that the procedure for summoning Yanukovych to court will take some time, the court postponed the meeting on the election of a preventive measure to 09.30 on October 4, 2021.
