Grain trader G.R. Agro increases grain acceptance by 1.6 times this season
KYIV. Aug 26 (Interfax-Ukraine) – Elevators of G.R. Agro, specializing in the trade of agricultural products in international markets, from the beginning of the 2021/2022 marketing year (MY, July-June) and as of August 25, increased acceptance of the harvest by 1.6 times compared to the same date of the last MY, to 200,000 tonnes, the company said on Facebook on Thursday.
According to it, 60% of the crop harvested at its granaries was wheat, 33% – barley, and 7% – rapeseed and peas.
The grain trader said that its elevators are ready to accept the new harvest of sunflower and corn.
G.R. Agro provides services for financing, purchasing, storing, transporting and selling crops to world markets. The grain trader owns five elevators in Dnipropetrovsk and Zaporizhia regions with a total capacity of one-time storage of up to 258,000 tonnes of agricultural crops.
