Govt allocates over UAH 119 bln to Defense Ministry, over UAH 28 bln to Interior Ministry for salaries, equipment, fuel, food, weapons – PM
KYIV. April 29 (Interfax-Ukraine) – The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine allocated over UAH 119 billion to the Defense Ministry and over UAH 28 billion to the Ministry of Internal Affairs for salaries, the purchase of equipment, fuel, food and weapons, Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal has said.
"Today, at a government meeting, over UAH 119 billion were allocated to the Ministry of Defense. Salaries, equipment, fuel, food, protection, weapons. We are trying to provide our fighters as much as possible," Shmyhal said at the government meeting on Friday.
The prime minister also said the Cabinet of Ministers allocates more than UAH 28 billion to the Ministry of Internal Affairs for the same needs.
