Enemy shells Nikopol, Kryvy Rih districts of Dnipropetrovsk region at night – local authorities
KYIV. Aug 17 (Interfax-Ukraine) – On Wednesday night, the enemy shelled Nikopol and Kryvy Rih districts of Dnipropetrovsk region, as a result, private houses, a gas pipeline, and a local enterprise were damaged, according to Head of the regional military administration Valentyn Reznichenko.
"Nikopol district was attacked three times a night. The enemy fired eight shots from cannon artillery at night. Six private houses, cars and a gas pipeline were mutilated in the city. People were not injured," Reznichenko said in the Telegram channel on Wednesday morning.
The occupiers sent 40 shells using Grad multiple rocket launch systems at Chervonohryhoriska merged community. As a result, a local enterprise and a power grid were damaged.
"Russian shells also hit the recently repaired Nikopol highway – craters formed there. Passed without dead or wounded," Reznichenko said.
The Russians fired from Uragan systems at Shyrokivska merged territorial community in Kryvy Rih region. There were no casualties or damage.
