British FM confirms readiness to work together to convince other countries to provide Western–type tanks to Ukraine – Kuleba
KYIV. Jan 16 (Interfax-Ukraine) – Ukrainian Foreign Minister Dmytro Kuleba and British Foreign Minister James Cleverly discussed work on the provision of Western-type tanks to Ukraine, as well as new sanctions against the Russian unmanned missile industry.
“I had a call with James Cleverly to thank for his role in the historic UK decision to provide Ukraine with Challenger 2 tanks, howitzers, and other equipment. James confirmed his readiness to work together on persuading other nations to provide Ukraine with Western-type tanks,” Kuleba said on Twitter.
The Foreign Ministers also discussed new sanctions against the Russian missile and drone industry aimed at putting an end to Russian missile terror against the civilian population of Ukraine.
“I am deeply grateful to the UK for standing with Ukraine resolutely,” Kuleba added.
