Russia must answer for crimes against Ukrainian children – Yermak
KYIV. April 8 (Interfax-Ukraine) – Head of the Office of the President of Ukraine Andriy Yermak held an online conversation with human rights activist and co-founder of the Clooney Foundation For Justice Amal Clooney, during which the parties discussed issues of protecting the rights of Ukrainian children and bringing the Russian Federation to justice for their violation.
“Russia must answer for crimes against Ukrainian children. I had an online conversation with Amal Clooney, a well-known human rights activist and co-founder of the Clooney Foundation for Justice. We discussed issues of protecting the rights of Ukrainian children and bringing the Russian Federation to justice for crimes committed against them,” Yermak wrote on the Telegram channel on Saturday.
According to Yermak, Amal Clooney specializes in international criminal law and the protection of human rights, and is also a lawyer in international courts, in particular in the International Court of Justice and the International Criminal Court.
