Ukraine records 5,159 new COVID-19 cases, 137 related deaths in past 24 hours
KYIV. Sept 21 (Interfax-Ukraine) – Ukraine has registered 5,159 new cases of coronavirus (COVID-19), along with 2,156 recoveries and 137 deaths in the past 24 hours, the Ukrainian Health Ministry’s press service said on Tuesday.
"Ukraine recorded 5,159 new cases of COVID-19 (including 463 children and 129 medical workers) over the past day, September 20, 2021. In the past 24 hours, 1,086 people were hospitalized, 137 died and 2,156 recovered," the ministry said on Telegram.
Ukraine’s total case count since the onset of the pandemic currently stands at 2.356 million, including 2.234 million recoveries and 55,056 deaths.
