Ukraine has nothing to do with incident in Baltic Sea – Podoliak
KYIV. March 7 (Interfax-Ukraine) – Ukraine has nothing to do with the incident in the Baltic Sea and has no information about the “subversion groups” on the Nord Stream and Nord Stream-2 gas pipelines last year, said Mykhailo Podoliak, adviser to the head of the President’s Office of Ukraine.
“Although I enjoy collecting amusing conspiracy theories about Ukrainian government, I have to say: Ukraine has nothing to do with the Baltic Sea mishap and has no information about ‘pro-Ukrainian sabotage groups.’ What happened to the Nord Stream pipelines? They sank, as they say in RF itself …,” Podoliak said on Twitter Tuesday evening.
On Tuesday, the New York Times published an article in which the explosions on the Nord Stream gas pipeline last year were linked to pro-Ukrainian forces. At the same time, the article notes that they have no evidence that the leadership of Ukraine is involved in the operation, or that the lawbreakers acted on the instructions of any Ukrainian officials.
At the same time, it is reported that it is only known that the perpetrators of the bombing were allegedly opponents of Russian President Vladimir Putin. The ezine says that viewing recently collected intelligence indicates that they were opponents of Russian President Vladimir Putin, but does not indicate the members of the group, as well as those who led or paid for the operation.
