Gazprom supplies all-time record amount of gas to Turkey since start of year
MOSCOW. Sept 20 (Interfax) – Gazprom supplied 20.3 billion cubic meters of gas to Turkey from January 1 through September 19, 2021, which is an all-time record amount for this period and 153% or 12.3 bcm more than the 8 bcm of 2020.
Gazprom provided real-time data on gas supplies in a statement regarding contacts between company head Alexei Miller and Turkish Energy and Natural Resources Minister Fatih Donmez.
The parties discussed cooperation in the gas sphere, including gas supplies, the statement said.
"The parties praised the operation of the Blue Stream and TurkStream gas pipelines, which reliably transport Russian gas to consumers via the Black Sea," it said.
