Two people killed, two injured in Kherson over last day – city council

KYIV. Feb 21 (Interfax-Ukraine) – As a result of the night shelling of Kherson, two people were killed and two were injured, Kherson City Council has said.

“Over the past day, the total number of shelling is 21. Unfortunately, two people were killed. Two people were injured,” Kherson City Council said on Telegram channel on Tuesday morning.

According to the city council, Russian troops have been shelling Kherson community since the night: Antonivka, Zelenivka, the Ostrov and Tavria microdistricts came under fire.

According to Kherson Regional Military Administration, the energy infrastructure of the region also suffered as a result of the shelling. Currently, due to damage to power grids, there is no power supply in three settlements of Bilozersk community. In total, 804 subscribers remain without electricity.

Due to night shelling, power supply disappeared in the suburbs of Kherson, in the village of Zymovschyk, 538 metering points were disconnected from the voltage.
