Razumkov, Shmyhal take part in Zelensky's meeting, where bills on deoligarchization, 'resource' discussed – MP
KYIV. Sept 17 (Interfax-Ukraine) – Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Dmytro Razumkov, Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal, Finance Minister Serhiy Marchenko and Justice Minister Denys Maliuska took part in a meeting with President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky with the participation of parliament and government representatives, at which the agenda of the next plenary week was discussed, in particular, the preparation of a bill on de-oligarchization (No.5599) and a "resource" bill (No.5600) for consideration at second reading, Deputy Head of the Servant of the People faction Yevhenia Kravchuk said.
"Charman Dmytro Razumkov was at this meeting, that is, on-line [the head of parliament said on September 10 he had tested positive for COVID-19]. Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal and some ministers, in particular head of the Ministry of Finance Serhiy Marchenko, Minister of Justice Denys Maliuska. We discussed the agenda as a whole, but the most important ones are about the oligarchs and the ‘resource’ one," Kravchuk told Interfax-Ukraine on Friday.
According to her, the Verkhovna Rada intends to start consideration of these two bills in the next plenary week on September 21.
In addition, the parliamentarian said the president did not discuss any personnel issues with parliamentarians and representatives of the Cabinet of Ministers, except that "it is necessary to vote for the head of the law enforcement committee at the beginning of the plenary week, and previously it was said that this is Mr. Serhiy Ionushas." This issue is also planned to be discussed separately by the Servant of the People faction at its meeting on Monday, September 20.
"We did not raise other personnel issues, but again, there is no final agenda for the meeting of the faction, so perhaps some more questions will be added," the deputy head of the faction said.
