Four children fall through ice in Kyiv region, two die – Emergency Service
KYIV. Jan 17 (Interfax-Ukraine) – In Kyiv region, four children fell through the ice on the Ros River in Bilotserkivsky district, the press service of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine reports.
"According to preliminary data, a man was passing by the river, seeing that the children were drowning, rushed to help. With two dives into the icy water, he was able to save two girls born in 2008 and in 2010, the third girl was rescued by rescuers, but, unfortunately, the child died in the hospital," the Telegram channel says.
Later, the State Emergency Service in Kyiv region reported on the Telegram channel that rescuers had found the body of a fourth child.
