OPEC retains 2023 estimate for growth in oil supplies from non-OPEC countries, including for Russia, USA

KYIV. Jan 17 (Interfax-Ukraine) – OPEC has retained its estimate for growth in supplies of liquid hydrocarbons from non-OPEC countries for 2023, according to the organization’s monthly report.

OPEC has raised slightly its estimate for supplies in 2022 and by the same amount for 2023 worldwide, as well as for Russia and the United States.

According to OPEC, supplies of liquid hydrocarbons from non-OPEC countries should total 67.16 million barrels per day in 2023, an increase of 1.54 million bpd against 2022. Production of liquid hydrocarbons in the United States should rise by 1.15 million bpd to 20.2 million bpd, while the figure is forecast to decrease by 850,000 bpd in Russia from 11.03 bpd to 10.18 million bpd.
