Ukraine wants to see widest possible range of participants at Peace Summit – Yermak in conversation with Przydacz
KYIV. Jan 17 (Interfax-Ukraine) – Head of the Office of the President of Ukraine Andriy Yermak has held a phone conversation with newly appointed Secretary of State at the Chancellery of the President of Poland Marcin Przydacz on Tuesday, the Ukrainian President’s Office said on its website.
Yermak congratulated his interlocutor on the appointment and expressed confidence of fruitful cooperation.
He also said that Ukraine continues to hold consultations with the partners on the organization of the Peace Summit, proposed by President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky, and stressed that Ukraine would like to see the widest possible range of participants at the event.
Yermak also informed Przydacz about the idea to organize a summit on sanctions with the participation of partner states in the near future.
"Its goal is to analyze what has been already done and how we should continue our work. Unity and coordination of positions during the preparation of new packages of sanctions against the aggressor are very important today," he said.
The head of the Ukrainian President’s Office also emphasized the importance of strengthening the sanctions policy against Russia and praised Poland’s active and strong position on the issue.
