Builder job openings down 71% in 2022 – study
KYIV. Jan 12 (Interfax-Ukraine) – The number of vacancies for builders in 2022 decreased by 71% compared to the previous year, while about two-thirds of specialists lost their jobs, follows from the analytics of the Kaski JOB construction vacancies portal.
"The restoration of jobs and the maximum preservation of the team became the main tasks of all construction companies in 2022. But, despite the revival of the construction market in the summer, we are now seeing a decline in activity," the report says.
According to the study, the income of builders decreased by an average of 50% last year. The most demanded were project managers (24% of vacancies), architects (23%), estimators and chief engineers (19% each), engineers of production and technical departments and technical supervision.
According to the portal, the leaders of the construction market have not yet resumed recruitment at the pre-war level.
