No intention to suspend transport during possible lockdown – PM

KYIV. Sept 14 (Interfax-Ukraine) – Prime Minister of Ukraine Denys Shmyhal says that the transport is not planned to be suspended during the toughening of lockdown measures.

"We do not plan to suspend [public transport] at the moment […] The adaptive quarantine remains as previously," Shmyhal said at a press conference in Kyiv on Tuesday.

The prime minister said the same requirements for vaccination will apply to the collectives of carriers as to other business entities.

As for passengers, as noted by Shmyhal, the mask regime and social distancing will continue to operate.

"It is not advisable to require certificates in public transport," the prime minister said.
