KYIV. Oct 21 (Interfax-Ukraine) – The Grand Chamber of the Supreme Court rejected the cassation of PrivatBank (Kyiv) against the decision of the courts of previous instances to recognize as terminated the obligations of the Nikopol Ferroalloy Plant (NFP) under one of the loan agreements concluded before the nationalization of the bank, the financial institution’s press service said on Friday.
The decision was made by the court on October 19.
The bank said the decision in this case will affect decisions in more than 20 open cases on the bank, including, as a precedent, the decision on lawsuits in the United States.
