More than 100 households flooded as result of damage to hydraulic structures on Inhulets River – Emergency Service
KYIV. Sept 15 (Interfax-Ukraine) – More than 100 households have been flooded as a result of damage to hydraulic engineering structures on the Inhulets River and further rising of the water level in the river, according to the State Emergency Service of Ukraine.
"Rescuers in Kryvyi Rih continue to clean up the aftermath of the missile attack, which happened the day before. The water level in the Inhulets River has risen as a result of damage to the hydraulic structures. More than 100 households have been flooded," it said on Thursday.
The Emergency Service also said that a power line was badly damaged in Marhanetska community and more than 700 families were left without electricity supply. In addition, 1,000 residents of Sofiyivska community and 7,000 people in Lozovatska community were cut off water supply as a result of damage to water pipelines.
"Twelve privet houses, 114 solar panels, a health improvement facility, two enterprises, and five outbuildings were damaged in Nikopol. The enemy again shelled the town in the morning," it said.
