Ukraine hits more than 400 Russian targets using HUMARS systems – General Milley
KYIV. Sept 8 (Interfax-Ukraine) – Ukraine has hit more than 400 Russian targets with the help of High Mobility Artillery Rocket Systems (HIMARS), according to Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, General Mark A. Milley.
At a press conference following the Fifth Ukraine Defense Contact Group meeting at Ramstein Air Base in Germany on Thursday, he said that Ukraine has reached tangible progress in using these systems. For example, the Ukrainian defense forces have hit more than 400 targets with the help of HIMARS and these attacks had a destructive impact. The Russian communication and supply chains are extremely overloaded, which directly affects Russia’s ability to support its combat power.
According to General Milley, the Russian occupation army is facing serious problems with the replenishment of it forces and combat losses.
He also stressed that the war is not over as Russia is a large country with very serious ambitions concerning Ukraine. Thus, Ukraine needs support to continue the fight for its survival.
