Ukraine returns bodies of another 25 killed soldiers – Reintegration Ministry
KYIV. Sept 6 (Interfax-Ukraine) – The bodies of 25 Ukrainian defenders were returned as part of another operation, the Ministry for the Reintegration of Temporarily Occupied Territories of Ukraine reported on Tuesday.
"Another operation has taken place to transfer the bodies of the killed soldiers. Ukraine has returned the bodies of 25 more of its defenders. The operation was carried out with the cooperation of Commissioner for Missing Persons Oleh Kotenko and a number of law enforcement agencies of Ukraine," the report says.
It is noted that the process of returning the bodies takes place in accordance with the norms of the Geneva Convention.
