Zelensky offers United States new formats for participation in conflict settlement in Donbas
KYIV. Sept 2 (Interfax-Ukraine) – President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky said that he offered the United States new formats for participating in the conflict settlement in Donbas.
"I proposed formats […] for the implementation of the U.S. representatives. In the format of a peaceful settlement of the conflict in Donbas. The United States will think about my proposal, because before the meeting I did not discuss these details and did not transmit," Zelensky said at a briefing in Washington on Wednesday.
He also said, answering a question regarding Ukraine’s accession to NATO, the following: ‘there is the U.S. support, but there is no timetable."
