European Broadcasting Union distributes selection of modern Ukrainian music to European radio stations – Ministry of Culture

KYIV. April 29 (Interfax-Ukraine) – The European Broadcasting Union has distributed a selection of contemporary Ukrainian music based on the recommendations of the Ukrainian public, which was initiated by the First Lady of Ukraine Olena Zelenska together with the Ministry of Culture and Information Policy.

"The playlist consists of songs proposed for broadcast by Ukrainians on Olena Zelenska’s social networks. Among the performers are young and modern artists. The list also includes compositions that Ukrainians liked the most during the years of independence," the press service of the Ministry of Culture said in a statement.

It is noted that in general, since the beginning of Russia’s full-scale invasion of Ukraine, more than 190 broadcasts of Ukrainian songs and concerts have taken place on 45 radio organizations of the European Broadcasting Union, covering 34 countries, including regular broadcasts of the Ukrainian anthem, podcasts, special messages.
