Kuleba believes Germany's position on Ukraine, military conflict in Donbas to remain unchanged
KYIV. Aug 28 (Interfax-Ukraine) – Ukraine’s Foreign Minister Dmytro Kuleba believes that Germany’s position regarding Ukraine and the military conflict in Donbss will remain unchanged after the change of the German government.
"We maintain contacts with everyone. I am absolutely convinced that regardless of the configuration of the future government, Germany’s position regarding Ukraine and the Ukrainian-Russian conflict will remain unchanged," Kuleba said on the air of the Ukraine24 television channel on Friday evening.
He said that he personally contacted with the candidate for the post of chancellor of the Federal Republic of Germany from [Alliance 90] The Greens and with the candidates for the post of chancellor from the Social Democrats.
"The President of Ukraine has repeatedly contacted the candidate from the Christian Democrats of the Merkel Party, Mr. [Armin] Laschet. He also met with representatives of The Greens. We put eggs in all three main baskets," the minister said.
