The Charitable Organization “Charity Foundation “Stabilization Support Services”” (CO CF SSS) announces an open competition for the position of WASH coordinator

Since 2015, The Charitable Organization “Charity Foundation Stabilization Support Services has been supporting and helping people affected by the war in Ukraine, as well as developing social assistance and human rights protection institutions in our country.

The team of CO CF SSS works both at the local level with regional coordinators, and at the national level – with the involvement of our national experts. 

Our main focus is the work with internally displaced persons, as well as vulnerable categories of the population.

Responsibilities:

  • Strategic planning and development of the programs: development and implementation of WASH component, cooperation with public service, ongoing analysis of WASH needs in Ukraine, development of proposals regarding new programs in line with the current needs.
  • Control and timely provision of the data on technical aspects of project implementation. Consulting the team on technical issues.
  • Control of the project implementation on the sites, communication with regional coordinators. 
  • Development of the system of monitoring and evaluation, key indicators of quality of project implementation. Control of the evaluation process, analysis of the results and providing recommendations on their basis.
  • Development of the project implementation plan and monitoring milestones.
  • Management of the process of rehabilitation of the water supply and sewage systems in the residential and public sector buildings. 
  • Providing technical support to the project implementation, work with the project documentation.
  • Preparation of the terms of reference for the design of new and reconstruction of the existing systems. 
  • Design of the internal water supply and sewage systems of the residential and public sector buildings.
  • Providing reporting on the progress of project implementation.
  • Preparation of the requests and necessary estimations for purchasing of the equipment, materials, spare parts and conclusion of the agreements.
  • Control of commissioning of the water supply and sewage systems at all stages, quality control of works.
  • Maintenance of the technical documentation (reports, supporting documents etc.).
  • Control of the compliance with the legislation and state standards in the process of the project implementation.
  • Search for new projects for implementation.

QUALIFICATION AND REQUIREMENTS:

  • Higher education (construction/engineering).
  • Experience of work with WASH component and in the area of rehabilitation of water supply. 
    – Understanding of WASH sector in the context of Ukraine.
    – Experience in designing water supply and sewage systems.
    – Experience of work with mobile settlements.
    – Knowledge of regulatory documentation relevant for the utility systems.
    – Skills in preparing and maintenance of the technical and reporting documentation.
  • Experience of organization of the work process on the sites.
  • Experience of work in humanitarian and international non-for-profit organizations will be an advantage.
