Zelenskyy's biggest disappointment is govt reps who left Kyiv on first day of war

KYIV. Feb 24 (Interfax-Ukraine) – President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky was disappointed by members of his team who left Kyiv in the first days of Russia’s full-scale invasion of Ukraine.

“Who disappointed? All those who left on the 24th [February 24, 2022], all those who left Kyiv, who left cities, villages, who should lead the state or protect it, fight for it,” Zelenskyy said at a press conference in Kyiv on Friday.

Answering the question, what his biggest mistake during the year of the war is, Zelenskyy said: “My biggest mistake? I do not know, I think there were enough of them … I am a human being and every day I probably make mistakes … The main thing is that I, as a president, do not have fatal mistakes, because of which I, the guarantor of the Constitution and the guarantor of the protection of the state, can lose it with you. Thank God, there was no such a mistake.”
