Zelenskyy: Ukrainian air defense today stronger than ever before
KYIV. Feb 17 (Interfax-Ukraine) – The air defense system of Ukraine is in the best condition today than ever before, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy said at a press conference in Kyiv on Friday, while answering a question about a possible intensification of enemy aviation activities.
The head of state said that today Ukraine has the best air defense system than ever before and thanked the country’s partners for this.
“You can see the percentage [of destroyed missiles] after every attack – sometimes it is 50-60%, sometimes 80-85%,” he said.
Ukraine has managed to go through the most difficult stage when it had not so many partners, Zelenskyy said.
“We are stronger. Russia was stronger at that time, and now it is not so powerful and they do not have such a number of forces,” he said.
